Cool Gear: Morley ABY Selector / Combiner Pedal

Every once in awhile, you find something exciting that you just feel you need to share with others. We originally used this pedal to assist us with comparing guitar cables for our review, but what was supposed to be work quickly degraded into a jam session.

This is the Morley ABY Selector / Combiner Pedal. This is a great pedal that has multiple uses as we learned from our guitar cable test.

1 Guitar Connected to 2 Amplifiers
Plug in your guitar and switch between 2 amplifiers or use both amplifiers at the same time.

2 Guitars connected to 1 Amplifier
Plug in your guitars, hook up the amplifier and you can either quickly switch from one guitar to another or invite a friend to join in and jam along.

As I mentioned earlier, our cable testing degraded into a jam session, it began with “Check this out” and went downhill from there.

Grab your guitar, your Morley pedal and head over to a friends house, no longer do you have tote a heavy amplifier around.

Another use for this would be to set up different pedal boards and switch between them depending on the style of music you are playing.

We really like this pedal a lot. My friend, suggested that the only thing that would make it better was if we could control the volume of each signal that went into the amplifier. Upon doing some research for this article I discovered that Morley has taken care of that as well.
